The Crochet Waffle Stitch
Yarn crafts and home decor go together like waffles and blue berries. And there’s no better way to give your minimalist decor some texture than with a nice dose of crochet creations. The crochet waffle stitch may just be perfect for this occasion. It’s an intermediate stitch that creates a pleasant depth and brings any surface to life. You can be as daring as you like with the color palette of your yarn. Ton-sur-ton, fresh pastels, a gradient or a mix of colors; whatever tickles your aesthetics. And as for size? Again, up to you! A tea cloth, a nice table runner or a couple of coasters, they will all look gorgeous in a waffle stitch pattern. You can alternate between crochet hook sizes to create more diversity in your work.
