With color A, cast on 123 (159, 195) sts.
Set-Up Row: with color A, k to end of row.
Row 1: (right side): with color B, k1, *sl 1 (see Instructions), k11, rep from * to last 2 sts, sl 1, k1.
Row 2: and all following wrong-side rows: k the same sts you k on the previous row, with the same color; and sl all of the same sls/s, with yarn in front.
Row 3: with color A, k4, *[sl 1, k1] 3 times, sl 1, k5, rep from * to last 11 sts, [sl 1, k1] 3 times, sl 1, k4.
Row 5: with color B, k3, *sl 1, k7, sl 1, k3, rep from * to end of row.
Row 7: with color A, k2, *sl 1, k3, sl 1, k1, rep from * to last st, k1.

The chart begins at the lower right corner on row 1. Each horizontal row represents two rows of knitting. The rows going from right to left are on the right side, and the rows going from left to right are on the wrong side.

On every row that begins and ends with a color B gray square, all color B stitches are knitted and all color A stitches are slipped. On every row that begins and ends with a color A white square, all color A stitches are knitted, and all color B stitches are slipped.
