Bird in Hand by Jurianne Matter

Jurianne-Matter_5-pattern_1024x1024

We’ve known Jurianne Matter for many, many years. She is one of those rare women who are born ‘crafter-universalis’. Paper, ceramics, textile and fibers hold no secrets for her. Everything Jurianne touches turns into a delicate piece of art. We finally managed to pin her (and ourselves ) down – it’s funny, organizing a formal interview with a friend is always a bit awkward we find, probably because you know them so well yourself, you assume everybody else does too! We let you take a peek behind the scenes in her stylish home located right in the so-called green-heart of The Netherlands. Marvel at her carefully handpicked collection of all sorts of interior accessories, including, naturally, Jurianne’s embroidery work. Create your own collage of embroidered birds in your favorite color palette.

Purchase a copy of KOEL Magazine Issue 4 for full interview and instructions and download the Bird In Hand pattern here.
