Gradient Blanket by Magasin Duett

Yarns
200 grams each of Magasin Duett Supersoft in the following colors:
– Bleached White
– Silver Grey
– Flanell Grey
– Oxford
– Graphite
– Black

Tools & Materials
100 cm long circular needle (5 mm)

Gauge
(The gauge of this blanket is not important)

Size
Approximately 140 cm wide x 170 cm inches long

Instructions
Begin
With double thread of Bleached White cast on 250 stitches. Knit in garter stitch for 40 rows. Change one of the threads of Bleached White to one thread of Silver Grey and continue to work 40 more rows in garter stitch. Remove the Bleached White and knit with double thread of Silver Grey for 40 rows.

Change one of the threads of Silver Grey to one thread of Flanell Grey and continue to work 40 more rows in garter stitch.

Continue 
Continue to work garter stitch like this and change one of the threads every 40 row like this:
– Two threads of Flanell Grey
– One thread of Flanell Grey and one thread of Oxford
– Two threads of Oxford
– One thread of Oxford and one thread of Graphite
– Two threads of Graphite
– One thread of Graphite and one thread of Black
– Two threads of Black

End
Weave in all the ends and let the blanket take a warm bath with some liquid detergent to remove the spinning oil from the yarn.

To make it airy and softer you can put it in the tumble dryer for a short while and then let it flat dry.
