KOEL Magazine is Here!

KOEL Magazine is here!

We can hardly believe it – Studio Bloesem’s baby is a week old already! KOEL Magazine was launched on October 1st and we are so excited for the world to finally get their hands on a copy and explore the yarn movement with us.

In the debut issue, we talk to some of the biggest names in the yarn community (hello Tamara Maynes!) and spilled all our best kept secrets – everything from how to get your home ready for the colder months with yarn decor to a tour of the best supply stores around the world. Bringing to you visual treats with page after page worth of notes and musings over the prettiest tools, talented up-and-coming crafters and beautiful photography by international stylists including April and May and Wij zijn kees. In case that wasn’t enough good news for one day, there’s a ton of free patterns and tutorials both in the magazine and online, such as an exclusive blanket pattern from none other than Purl Soho in New York! It’s not all about yarns… issue one also features a special guest story on Minka Inhouse founder and ceramicist Francisca Aldea, our current non-fibre obsession! KOEL Magazine promised to be the place where interior decor and yarn crafting perfectly collide, and so far no promises have been broken!

As of last week, the best book stores, supply shops and concept spaces around the world are selling KOEL Issue 1. Just a few days after launching, stockists have been reporting KOEL Magazine is flying off the shelves and selling out in no time! From New York to Melbourne to Amsterdam, it seems KOEL is the coolest kid on the block and we couldn’t be more proud.
