Love Fest Fibers
Thanks to KOEL, we’ve been able to connect, build friendships and forge partnerships with other like-minded businesses. Love Fest Fibers may be new to the scene but already they’re a household name within the community.
Based in San Francisco, California, founder Britt-Marie Alm spent a lot of her childhood learning to knit and crochet from her mom, which then turned into sharing sessions as they crafted. She’d put the hobby aside for a while and only rekindled with it years later after moving to the Himalayas. There, she integrated with the Tibetan community through knitting. It was also the basis of her project, and now business, Love Fest Fibers.
Love Fest Fibers is your go-to when it comes to big, cosy knits. Staying through to her philanthropic agenda, Britt partners with artisans and pastoralists worldwide in order to stock meaningful, unique yarns and support livelihoods at the same time. One of the brand’s most loved items is the ReLove — essentially yarn that has been mixed with recycled plastic water bottle, in a bid to reduce waste and landfill. A very inspiring and enterprising movement, it’s no wonder Love Fest Fibers is a brand that many handmade crafters look up to!
