Project #189: Fruit Pizza

Bloesem kids | Craft Project - Make Your own Fruit Pizza

Make your own fruit pizza by Zara S.

As a child I remember being obsessed with making my own food and helping out in the kitchen, sadly that has faded over the years. But one thing that stuck was my love to assemble my own breakfasts. It usually needs to be something quick like cereal or yoghurt but I thought this fruit pizza that I used to eat a lot would be a fun do-it-yourself for the kids. Plus it’s super healthy and you can still call it a pizza so it might get them excited!

What you’ll need:
* Pizza base – I used a pitta bread, you can use any dough/bread alternative
* Yoghurt – a nice alternative is cream cheese (or nutella)
* Your favourite fruits

Steps: All that you need to do for this super simple fruit pizza is spread some yoghurt or cream cheese (or nutella if this is a dessert) on to your pizza base. That top it off with all kinds of cut fruit. I would suggest strawberries, mango, blueberries, any other kinds of berries. It would even be great to sprinkle some chopped nuts over the top. (Remember to check to allergies) Let the children make their own pizza and I’m sure we’ll see some fruit faces appearing on the pizzas.

That’s it! A super simple DIY and would even make a fun tea party activity. Bon Appetit – Zara
