Monochrome VS Colours

The black and white trend has been one that we have seen for a long time. You see it everywhere but we think it is time to move on from that into a world of colour. Children should be surrounded by all the beautiful colours the Earth has to offer. Black and white can be an easy go-to because how can you go wrong if everything is black and white? But we think, it's not about what is easy, but more about what is fun! Let your child be free in their design choices, you may not agree with painting the wall their favourite shade of neon green for instance? But we believe there is always a way to work around it and find a great middle ground for both parents and children to enjoy the room decor.

How about some pastels then? Pastels are a great choice for adding colour, they are pleasing to the eyes without being too intense and going overboard with bright colours that might be too loud or overpowering. Sometimes going minimal can just come in the form of less clutter in the room, you don't have to forgo colour too!

And it's also a great idea to decorate with natural elements such as flowers, plants and even leaves in this case! If you find it hard to keep plants alive, dried flowers are also a great option. Just hang flowers upside down to dry and they will last a long time and look just as beautiful.

And if you are really bold, try playing with more colours. Get out of your comfort zone, it'll be fun! Isn't that what colours are all about?
