DIY: Sinterklaas lights
DIY Sinterklaas lights by Wimke Tolsma
Winter is here and these are the dark and cold days that we prefer to stay at home on. We love these days! Last weekend we welcomed Sint. My girls are making their toy-wishlists for Sint and waiting for the Sint to stop by. Sint and his Pieten will be popping by at night when all the children are lying warm in their beds.
For Sint, we made Sinterklaas lights. We put the little lights in the windowframe so Sint and his Pieten have a extra light when they (hopefully) bring the presents.
What you’ll need:
* Parchment-paper or baking paper
* Black paper
* Rope or ribbons
Cut houses, boats and trees out of the black paper. Everything that has to do with Sinterklaas. You can also cut presents, Sinterklaas, Pieten…
Clean the jars then first place the parchment paper into the jar. Behind that, place the cut houses from the black paper and decorate it with a rope or ribbon. Put a fake candle in the jar and your Sinterklaas-light is ready!
