Play in the sand

Bloesem Kids | Spotted at Maison and Objet Singapore: Sand for kids childrens furniture

{ 1. MM1 trunk wardrobe , 2. Chairs and benches , 3. Books on wheels , 4. Pencil trays , 5. Sunrise bed }

While at Maison and Objet earlier this year, we were drawn to this little booth with the most adorable children’s furniture. Using natural and child safe materials, the furniture from Sand for Kids reminds us of pieces you would see in a little child’s classroom (except for the bed), all made to be easily accessbile for a child to be independent and take things for themselves. This totally made sense when we found out that the designer, Silvia, used to be a montessori school teacher! We really appreciate the simplicity of the pieces, allowing for a child to use it for a number of years.
