Guest Post: Swantje & Frieda

Hi! I’m Deborah from Kickcan & Conkers and I am delighted to be contributing to Bloesem Kids whilst Irene is away. My thoughts go out to her and her family, and I sincerely hope that she will take all the time she needs.

For my first post, I’d like to share with you the adorable world of Swantje & Frieda, a small German label selling “fine little things”. [ MORE IMAGES]

I discovered Swantje’s work a couple of years ago and I am delighted to see her business growing and her blog and facebook page gaining in popularity. Swantje, currently offers a small selection of postcards and prints in her Dawanda shop, and has designed some very cute children’s cushions and totes via the Envelop site.

Small is definitely beautiful here, once again showing that you really don’t need a shop chock-full of goods to stand out from the crowd.

I am sure that many little (and big) girl would be thrilled to hang a piece of Swantje & Frieda‘s artwork in their home, and her pillows would make very special Christmas presents indeed.
