Inspired :: Recycled Wood

I don't think these gorgeous birds by Beller are limited to just adults or just children, but perfect for both. Not only do they serve a purpose since they are crafted out of leftover wood – which makes them a 100% recycled and keeps scraps of wood from being tossed into the trash, but they are also esthetically beautiful.

Lars Beller Fjetland grew up on the west coast of Norway where he has nurtured a lifelong fascination of bringing together function with the finest of nature's material in furniture, interiors and lighting. With his Re-Turned series he hopes that the consumer considers where this recycled bird might have come from…possibly an abandoned, but once loved piece of furniture. These birds are a second a chance for that piece of furniture, and a reminder of the importance of perserving nature. – Tiffany King
