    I love the name! Hurrah for hungry, food loving women everywhere. As a diabetic who shouldn’t even THINK about desserts (I miss them sooo much), I’d say a tangy mango ice cream. Or Nigel Slater’s beetroot and chocolate cake. Mmmm. Thank you for the giveaway!

    my husband’s paris-brest (a large ‘slagroom’ round chocalate ‘soes’ so he is with me anyhow. he makes this on birtdays for our for children and sometimes a small one to make me happy.

    Stranded on an island… I’d have to say my aunt’s almond jello. I dunno how it’d hold up under the sun, but I’d love to have a limitless supply of that. It’s amazing. And with any fresh fruit I can forage, the pairing would be comforting and probably keep me alive long enough to signal for rescue!

    one of my favorite hole in the wall restaurants has banana pudding ice cream, so i’d have to pick that! Especially since I’m imagining a hot, tropical island 🙂

    Triple Ginger extra creamy Milkshake!
    Ginger Syrup – Fresh Ginger – Candied Ginger – Vanilla Ice Cream – Milk
    Shake and Stir it Up! sweet, spicy, cooling, creamy and just yummie!
    Maybe make a blender out of a coconutshell?

    I would take my mother´s apple pie and some “dulce de leche” (an Argentinian sweet). It´s a perfect combination!

    I would bring the crème brulée from “de Smederij”, a small restaurant in Groningen, the Netherlands. Their secret ingredient……. lavender! Absolutely Fabulous!

    Though it might be hard to digest in a warm climate…

    Oh my goodness.
    I wanted these cookbooks so badly and as a broke college student couldn’t spring for them so even the chance to win them is so exciting.
    If I was stranded on a desert island, I would bring homemade vegan peanut butter cups topped if sea salt.

    Hmmm… so hard to choose, but I think I would go with a home-made (of course!) mocha cheescake with plenty of freshly whipped cream on the side. Island extravagance.

    Flourless chocolate fudgecake, its so rich and dense and satisfying… you can only eat a little at a time, and who knows how long you will stranded. Then again if you ate it all you would die a happy person.

    These cookbooks look so sweet. Love the design and hand crafted touch.

    I would definitely bring a creamy forest fruits cake, it is a realy good one. It tastes realy sweet with a hint of lemon. So that dessert island wouldn’t be a problem for me, since I’m bringing this cake 🙂
