Troppo Tardi … best book of 2010

Oh my what a nice way to start this morning….seeing the, what I believe is the best new book this year so far. Tropoo Tardi (=Too Late) is written by Giovanna Zoboli and illustrated by the super  Camilla Engman….it's GORGEOUS!!!! … I don't mind the Italian, makes it even more romantic 🙂 but I do hope there is an English version too. You can read a great book review here…and you can order it here at Topipittori.

For one time in my life I am lucky, as I am Italian. I bought Troppo tardi last saturday to my my 3 years daughter and since then we have been reading it almost two times a day. In the first 24 hours I read it to her six times. The beautiful and not overwhelmed illustration, as the lovely and easy text caught child attention very well. My daughter loves the thought of the cat that enlights the path to his friends. We are really enjoy the book too much.
    Too much happyness!

While I am not technically italian – I am a “wanna be” ero cosi contenta di vedere il nuovo libro – ho comprato tanti libri per i bambini in italiano – anche se esistanno in inglese 🙂 so much more charming – and what a great way to learn a new language! I will keep my eyes open for this new edition! Grazie mille! Claudine
