Blue Hour Designs jewelry

Bluehoursdesign

My husband and I are currently watching the tv series The Tudors and when writing this post about the beautiful jewelery designs by Alysia Sánchez Melnikov from Blue Hours Designs I constantly think about the Tudors and the castle-style-living. Norbert, Alysia's husband contacted Bloesem a little while ago for sponsor information and I can only say he is one of the friendliest business men I have ever met. When you read their blog and see the images you probably will enjoy their travel adventures just as much as I do. And I can only smile when I see how much Alysia loves castles and anything ancient and old…image below is from Hamlet's castle in Denmark that the couple visited.

Alysia and Norbert life near Boulder, Colorado and together they run Blue Hour Designs. I absolutely love their jewelry and have my eyes set on the Canary ring in the image above…love love love it! I am not a big jewellery fan myself but this is beautiful!

I love the jewellery too! I visited Hamlet’s Castle when I was a child – however, when I was there, the moat was empty to be cleaned and it smelled awful! Perhaps just how it might have smelled in Tudor times!

I adore simple jewelry–mostly stuff I can wear everyday, or just leave on. I like the stuff that becomes a part of you. I also have a hard time buying jewelry for myself–and when someone gives it as a gift, it always feels so much more personal.

However, If I had my pick, I definitely take the earrings in the top right. Love those!

Dit was even genieten… ik heb met veel plezier je blog door gespit.. Ik kom je naam overal tegen maar op de een of andere manier heb ik nooit de tijd genomen om eens uitgebreid er voor te gaan zitten 😉

Ik heb je zojuist in mijn speciale ‘inspration for your home’ lijstje gezet.
Wie weet nog eens tot ziens op mijn blog

That ring is beautiful and I love The Tudors. Aren’t the costumes and sets amazing (it’s partly produced in Canada- yay!)
