Black is Back

Both the black floor and black kitchen are something I keep in mind… thanks Lotta for sharing.

My friend has black floor boards too – they look amazing, although she says they are a pain to keep clean (due to footprints showing up).

I think they look fantastic – and if you were using a realy simple palette spiced up with a few jewel colours it’d really pop!

I love the look of those black floorboards, but they do seem like they would be a pain when it came to cooking?

Thanks for the link. Aren’t they great? It’s a swedish company that makes doors for Ikea kitchens and warderobes.

I’ve got black floorboards.. DON”T DO IT! They look amazing for the first 3 minutes after cleaning, then every single speck of dust shows up. Nightmare – especially with kids!!
