The marine stripe…

Post by Kellie from Buisjes En Beugels +++

After my trip to Stockholm I can certainly describe that the marine stripe is a big trend in Scandinavia! Over here in the Netherlands it is not yet landed, but I’ve seen the first shirts in a shop on a cruise ship in Rotterdam too. Personally I like this trend, because I love stripes as my collections have shown and I love the boatman’s theme!

Some weeks ago this image on the cover of the Kid’s wear Dagblad from the Kleine Fabriek caught my attention, because I loved the contrasting combination of the marine shirt (Petit bateau) in combination with the chic and sensible dress of Dino et Lucia*. And this look is great finished with the fur hat, which texture corresponds with the shoulder parts of the great dress! I’ve searched around which kids brands represent the marine look and I just found: Tuss (Sweden) & Petit Bateau.  Both brands which are focusing on the basics most of the time. And at last I found Bellerose influenced by Marine…

1&2 .. Tuss..
3 ..Bellerose at Little Fashion Gallery..
4 ..Petit Bateau at Little Fashion Gallery..

*The Dino & Lucia dress will be sold next winter!
