Are you ready for the weekend? I'm not sure I am….tomorrow is my Birthday and I'm the kind of person who prefers to let this day pass by silently…but with children things change…you have to celebrate and I guess in a way this is nice and I'm looking forward seeing the surprises or secrets my little boy has planned for me…last week I did celebrated my birthday with a friend of mine, we invited a small group of lovely ladies and instead of getting presents we asked them to donate for the people in Haiti and I'm proud to say that we raised a very nice amount together, Thank you Ladies!

Okay…now more about the images from this post…if you have some time to kill this weekend why don't you try and make a lamp yourself. Via rather nice I discovered this fantastic tutorial on Pickles…I love the thread lamp, we already have a similar one in our home and I'm definitely going to try and make one myself too real soon, it looks very easy with a magnificent result! {ps. On Monday FriedaMaria will be my guest in the Let's Get Personal Tour}
